How to bake Banana Bread

Banana bread is delicious and nutritious. It’s a simple bread that can be prepared in less than 15 minutes. Banana Bread requires only a few ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of extra-virgin olive oil
  •  1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Half a cup of walnuts
  • Two eggs
  • Four Bananas mashed (about 2 cups)
  • Two teaspoons of baking soda
  •  Two teaspoons of cinnamon
  • Two teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • One teaspoon of salt
  • ✦ Optional: One teaspoon of ground clove
  • ✦ Optional: One cup of yogurt

1. Prepare the glassware

Prepare your glassware with a coat of butter and flour to prevent ingredients from sticking.

2. Turn on the heat

Heat your oven at 350 degrees.

3. Oil & sugar

In a large bowl, mix the olive oil with the brown sugar.

4. Mix ingredients

Mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and cloves together.

5. Eggs and bananas

Add eggs, vanilla extract, and yogurt to the bowl with powder. When it’s well mixed, add bananas and finally walnuts.

6. Place in glassware

Add the ingredients to your glassware.

7. Heat & wait

Place in oven and cook until the color is gold. The banana bread should take around one hour to bake.
