Riff Dog is the restaurant of entrepreneur Anthony Argueta. Walk Entertainment helped create the logo, mascot, corporate image, menu, stamps, business cards and helped position the brand on social networks since the very beginning.
Riff Dog offers an experience to enjoy gourmet hot dogs made with love in a family friendly environment. The mascot, Wolfie, is a white Maltese who wears a black leather jacket, listens to music, plays video games and enjoys drinking beer.
The two iconic colors to represent Riff Dog, a light fluorescent green and black contrast each other create the space in the background which is then followed by green strokes that outline the letters with a rustic green margen filling the inside.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Lahud is Wolfie's full name and was Walk Entertainments dog. He was named after the famous musician and was chosen by Anthony Argueta to be the mascot of Riff Dog because Wolfie was the best dog that ever lived. He was a gentleman, loyal, he never barked, he was always by your side, always happy to greet you, a ladies man, he had the softest fur ever known, he was the cutest and the most handsome dog. His spirit lives on with Riff Dog, being the model for what the brand represents: Friendship, Confidence, Honesty, Respect, and Quality. Wolfie's white fur contrasts perfectly over the black backgrounds. We honor his existence by maintaining his image of loving great music, amazing food and being the coolest friend a boy can have.
A photography session was conducted by Walk Entertainment to provide images of posterity for Wolfie and to also use the images for future social media posts and forms of communication. Wolfie would let the clients feel more comfortable and secure knowing there's an attractive and loyal companion by their side with everyone's favorite interests: great food and beverage! The photos taken are used to create social media posts depending on which networks the clients decide to manage accounts for.
Anthony Argueta was given designs to print out business cards that show the logo of Riff Dog on one side and on the other his position and personal contact information is written on the top while the social media accounts are shown on the bottom. Wolfie can be seen in the background with him in his signature pose blurred out to provide more focus on the food and beverages shown in the utmost layer.
A new menu was designed for Riff Dog which detailed all the necessary information on two sides. The front side begins by showing the logo of Riff Dog on the top left corner with a 'Welcome' message underneath following information on how to contact Riff Dog in the future to reserve for private events and the names of the social media accounts. The hand-painted watercolor background maintains the same rustic texture and color seen in the Riff Dog logo. The products are written detailing how they were conceived and their ingredients. To further improve legibility, there is a black solid background underneath the white text which also helps to separate confusion from the green background. The back side shows the beverages Riff Dog provides to its clients and a message of drinking responsibly for the adults who enter the establishment.
